ZooZoo

If you are from India and you watch even a wee bit TV, you wouldn’t have missed the Vodafone’s ZooZoos. Vodafone with the help of O&M has created a masterpiece with the ZooZoo Ad Campaign. It showcases viral marketing at it’s best. Contrary to the popular perception, ZooZoo’s are not animated characters, they are human beings in costumes in a greyish set. If you want to watch the TV Commercials, click here. To get the full story behind the creation of these masterpieces, click here.

Below are some of the behind the scenes shots of the ZooZoo in action.

David Ogilvy, the founder of Ogilvy and Mather is popularly known as the father of modern day advertising. He started as boy throwing morning papers and over few decades built one of the world's best advertising agency. His international campaigns of Beer, Cigarattes have a record high TRPs. So i guess that even after his death, his legacy continues through O&M.
I personally didnt like them much but I agree that it has served its purpose - Catching everybody's attention. I guess Neha Dhupia(the actress) was wrong when she said that only SRK or Sex sell in Indian media...Such ads rock too - Ravi Kishore.
